Walks on the beach…

Okay, so not quite walks on the beach, but the boardwalk. The weather was cool and breezy yesterday, perfect for a big comfy sweater, scarf, and possibly a pair of Uggs if you’ve got those. A friend and I walked the entire boardwalk and back for the annual school fundraiser and it was nice to have the time to talk without juggling school work, jobs, and after school chores. Anywho, just a quick post. I’m off to go do something that would normally be considered productive by parents and teachers. Hearts<3

Okay so I must admit, I’m a fan of Lauren Conrad

Not just because of The Hills and the fame, and her adorable trends (Oh, don’t lie, you know it too. Those mismatched nails? I thought so), but because to me she is a style and beauty icon. I’ve been tracking down (in other words, saving money up) two of her lifestyle books and lately I’ve been absolutely adoring her collaborative website, The Beauty Department. If you haven’t heard of it or checked it out already they have tones of cute trends, tutorials, and articles for you to check out. They also have a YouTube channel for all their stylish and easy-to-follow tutorials. I’ll be looking forward to blogging about those books and I’d love to get my hands on one of the pieces from her new collection for Kohl’s!

Okay so obviously, if I pass by H&M this month, my bank account is about to be emptied. CANNOT get enough! STRIPES, COGNAC, BOOTIES, PONCHOS, AND TUBE SCARFS!! .. I just shed a tear :’) <3 I’m über excited and can’t wait to do some shopping. Perhaps I shall take le boyfriend with me to tag along

If I ever actually am able to do this haul, I’ll definitely post, but it;s highly unlikely because money is tight. Just with a new job about a month ago and I barely get shifts.. Aside from that I’ve got a very special B-Day coming up early next month..
